Arrow ECS is looking for a Security Pre-Sales Specialist who will provide pre-sales support to specified Arrow vendors, working with other presales specialists and internal BDMs to support partner and customer activities within the security space. The person will report to the Head of Solution Architecture and be part of a diverse, collaborative team.
What will you be doing at Arrow ECS?
* Work with cutting-edge technology supporting Arrow’s strategic vendors
* Achieve and maintain the required technical requirements set by individual vendors
* Maintain awareness of the current security landscape, focusing on assigned vendors
* Understand Arrow’s vendor line card and assist with cross selling opportunities outside your vendor scope
* Provide accurate, relevant technical information and act as a trusted advisor to partners and internal teams
* Maintain and grow key customer and partner relationships
* Support Arrow’s strategic goals on a divisional scale
* Focus on technical needs of emerging technology and new partners
* Match Arrow’s services and solutions to customer business needs
* Recognize and highlight opportunities for growth and enablement
What are we looking for?
* Experience in a similar solutions engineering/pre-sales engineering role within a relevant sector
* Experience in Cyber Security; relevant certs preferred (e.g., CompTIA Security/Network) or equivalent
* Experience with one or more security vendors focused on Endpoint (MDR/XDR), Firewall, SASE, Identity, WAF, DLP, SIEM, etc. Vendors may include Broadcom Symantec, Checkpoint, RSA SecureID, Tenable, F5, Splunk, Sophos, Trellix, Forcepoint, Trend Micro
* Ability to build and develop strategic business relationships and communicate with C-level executives
* Strong knowledge of the market and understanding of the value a distributor provides to the channel
* Effective communication and presentation skills with stakeholders at all levels
* Fluency in English
