Technical Support Specialist - Infusion Devices
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of the technical support team, you will provide expert technical support and maintenance for infusion devices.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team providing technical support to Automated Infusion Systems (AIS). You will be responsible for:
* Providing technical support and maintenance for infusion devices and accessories;
* Engaging in technical repair and maintenance of infusion devices, accessories, and software at customer sites or other locations;
* Leading or assisting with on-site installation and commissioning requirements for infusion equipment;
* Leading and assisting in field and workshop projects for updates and upgrades of infusion devices and related software applications;
* Undertaking technical and user support training for B. Braun products and any other relevant equipment;
* Responding promptly and accurately to customer queries and providing support as required;
* Developing and maintaining a level of technical competency to work independently and confidently.
In this role, you will be required to travel throughout Ireland and potentially further afield to meet with customers and provide technical support.
Key Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
* A degree in electronic, electrical, mechanical, biomedical engineering or a similar technical discipline;
* Strong IT and communication skills;
* Previous experience in infusion device technical services (maintenance & repair) and IT hardware is desirable;
* Comfortable working in a clinical setting and interacting with health professionals;
* Familiarity with relevant EU Directives for medical devices, e.g. MDR, EN, ISO quality standards;
* A full clean driving license.
