My client in the motor industry is seeking a Senior Customer Service Representative for their workshop department, based onsite in Kildare. The ideal candidate will have experience in both the motor and customer service industries. Job Purpose: Act as the main customer contact, delivering high service standards and ensuring accurate, timely communication throughout the service process while managing expectations. Key Responsibilities: Act as primary contact for customers and the depot Plan and communicate service schedules (VOSP), adjusting as needed Confirm appointments, manage workshop scheduling, and maximise capacity Ensure availability of labour and parts ahead of work Coordinate CVRT bookings and maintain customer records Upsell products and services where appropriate Greet customers, manage check-ins, and clarify repair details Convert jobs into repair orders and gain customer authorisation Agree timelines, ensure accurate job coding, and invoice as required Manage loan vehicle bookings Liaise between customers and workshop, ensuring timely updates and approvals Follow up post-service to ensure satisfaction Promote online service tools and depot offerings Maintain a professional reception area Build strong customer relationships to support parts and labour sales Skills & Experience: Knowledge of commercial vehicles Strong communication and customer service skills Sales and negotiation abilities Highly organised with attention to detail Strong IT skills Personal Attributes: Customer-focused and proactive Positive, self-motivated, and team-oriented Skills: Word Powerpoint Excel
