The Job:
We're partnering with our client, an innovative medical device company, to recruit a Demand Planner. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of demand planning, production scheduling, inventory management, and outbound logistics and playing a key role in ensuring smooth supply chain operations from manufacturing through to US distribution.
Responsibilities:
* Partner with commercial teams to build accurate demand forecasts.
* Manage the monthly S&OP process with a contract manufacturer to align supply with demand.
* Oversee daily production performance, escalating risks of supply disruption.
* Coordinate finished goods logistics to the US, optimizing sea vs. air freight.
* Work closely with warehouses, 3PLs, and logistics providers to ensure on-time, cost-effective deliveries.
* Maintain inventory levels that support revenue targets while reducing excess freight costs and raw material obsolescence.
* Ensure compliance with FDA regulations and Good Distribution Practices.
Experience/Skills:
* Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Supply Chain, Planning, Engineering or related field.
* 2+ years' experience in production, supply or demand planning.
* Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems.
* Experience in a regulated environment (FDA/medical devices preferred).
* Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
* Advanced Excel/data analysis ability.
