AA Euro Group are currently seeking a Senior EHS Advisor to join a leading main contractor with an excellent reputation for delivering large-scale residential developments across the Dublin area.
The Senior EHS Advisor will play a key role in promoting a strong safety culture across multiple residential construction sites.
Working closely with Project Managers, Site Managers, and subcontractors, the role focuses on proactive risk management, compliance, and continuous improvement in EHS performance.
Key Responsibilities
Implement and monitor EHS policies, procedures, and systems across residential sites
Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments
Advise site teams on statutory compliance and best practice
Lead accident, incident, and near-miss investigations and reporting
Deliver toolbox talks, inductions, and EHS training
Liaise with clients, designers, and regulatory authorities as required
Support preparation of method statements, risk assessments, and safety plans
Drive continuous improvement and promote a positive safety culture on site
Requirements
Degree or diploma in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Health & Safety, or related discipline
5+ years experience in an EHS role within construction
Strong experience on large-scale residential or commercial projects
Previous experience working for a main contractor
In-depth knowledge of Irish H&S legislation and regulations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proactive, solutions-focused approach to site safety
