Role Overview
The Business Systems Data Analyst acts as a critical bridge between business objectives and technology solutions. This role involves analysing business processes, systems, and data to identify areas for improvement, translating business needs into technical requirements, and supporting the design and implementation of solutions that enhance operational efficiency and decision-making.
Please note US hours coverage required (1pm – 9pm GMT)
Key skills/knowledge/experience:
* Extensive experience in a Business Analyst or Data Analyst role, with exposure to technical environments and enterprise systems
* Strong SQL and data analysis skills for extracting, transforming, and analyzing data from multiple sources.
* Ability to create detailed business process models, workflow diagrams, and data mappings to support solution design.
* Skilled in translating business requirements into precise technical specifications for development and IT teams.
* Experience in data profiling, reconciliation, and validation to support business cases and measure impact.
* Proficiency in developing and presenting reports, dashboards, and actionable insights to stakeholders.
* Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities.
* Familiarity with production support processes and enterprise systems.
