Part Qualified Accountant required with 3 years plus experience for a Galway based company.Accounting Technician qualification is an advantage. Hybrid (3 days in office). Reporting to Financial Controller Responsibilities: Gather and monitor financial data (e.g. sales revenues, costs, liabilities & assets) Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual statements (balance sheets, income statements and cash flows) Perform month-end and year-end close processes Manage tax payments Oversee Bank & Balance Sheet Reconciliations Preparation of audit files & support liaising with auditors Organize internal audits Support the preparation of budgets (for the entire company and by department) Monitor and report on accounting discrepancies Conduct detailed risk analyses to assess potential investments Analysis of financial trends Prepare timely VAT/Intrastat returns through ROS General administration & office filing and all other job-related tasks as required Additional duties as assigned by Manager/CFO Requirements: Minimum 2/3 years experience in over all accounts and IATI qualification an advantage Solid understanding ofbasic accountingprinciples, fair credit practices and collection regulations Excellent administration and data entry skills with full knowledge of MS Office Suite and Revenue online procedures Proficiency in Netsuite an advantage but not essential Hands-on experience in operating spreadsheets and accounting software Ability to work as part of a high performing team as well as on your own initiative For a confidential discussion and more information on the role, please contactNoeleen Stewart.
