Position: Electrical Instrumentation or Electrical TechnicianWhat does the position involveThis position will be installing, maintaining, calibrating, and repairing industrial electrical equipment, control systems and process instrumentation. Performing troubleshooting on PLC's, motors and sensors, following safety protocols to ensure plant equipment operates efficiently.Responsibilities include:Apply the site electrical preventative maintenance program.Carry out work orders in a timely and safe manner while maintaining adherence & full compliance with company proceduresTroubleshooting: Diagnose malfunctions in electrical and electro-mechanical systemsPreventive/Reactive Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance to prevent issues and address emergency breakdowns promptly Test, inspect and certify installations.Work with PLC /Systems and fault findDevelop in-depth working knowledge of the site electrical equipmentComplete all work orders and associated paperwork in fullComplete training and review of SOPs on complianceFollow all Health and Safety Rules and Regulations on the Site.Qualifications, Skills, Experience & Competencies Required:Electrical Instrumentation QQI Level 6 or Equivalent Electrical Instrumentation Qualified or Electrical QQI Level 6 or EquivalentMinimum 3 years' hands-on experience as a Maintenance Technician in IndustryHigh level of competency in electrical work / electrical engineeringExperience of machines & process equipment, controls & automationExperience in electrical & mechanical installations & maintenanceGood communication skills both written & oral, to meet the requirements of the job in fullAbility to work on own initiative, with minimum supervision, and as part of a team.Strong organizational and planning skillsAbility to apply logic to solving problemsDemonstrate InitiativeAdaptabilityHas a flexible approach to working hours (shift work, overtime and on call).Application:Applicants must submit an up-to-date CV to by Friday 20th February 2026.
