Work Flexibility: Onsite
This role will be based in our Limerick site.
Throughout the placement, you will be an integral part of Stryker's 2025 Cooperative cohort. Tasks and responsibilities may include:
* Together, with your Stryker team leader and college supervisor, identify a Finance improvement project along with project objectives, scope, success factors, milestones and evaluation
* Involvement in financial month end process (posting journals, reporting, liaising with our shared service center etc)
* Input into budgeting process through taking responsibility for budget inputs, working with the business to set the appropriate budgets and projections, and holding others accountable for performance against targets
* Forecasting on a quarterly, monthly, and weekly basis
* Assist the team in the tracking of capital spent and monitoring site spend and inventory movements
* Support compliance and internal/external audit activities
What you will need:
* Currently enrolled in a university course in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or other related courses for the duration of the placement
* Honesty and integrity; must comply with the quality system, regulations, and company policies
* Self-motivated, flexible, and hardworking - enjoys working in a dynamic, fast and results orientated environment
* Reliable, dependable, and punctual
* Organised, focused, and capable of multi-tasking
* Good analytical and problem-solving skills
* Good verbal and written communication skills with a basic level of PC skills
* Is a team player and capable of working as part of a multi-disciplined team
* Available for either 6, 9 or 12 months – exact duration and start date to be discussed with your Talent Acquisition Business Partner at Stryker
