About your team:

We’ve powered the UK’s homes and businesses for over 200 years. We’re making the UK greener and more energy efficient, aiming for Net Zero. Using tech like thermostats, heat pumps, solar panels, and EV chargers, we help customers reduce their carbon footprint more easily and affordably.
About your role:
We need Service & Repair engineers to join our team of experienced Gas Engineers to ensure customers receive help when needed. You will be key to our British Gas Service Promise of same-day fixes for customers.
Base salary is £45,483 with uncapped OTE — £52,400 is a realistic expectation through our field reward scheme.
Customer support is our priority. Whether attending an annual service or a complex breakdown, you will represent British Gas in customers’ homes. You’ll have support from managers, mentors, and colleagues, but experience working with various boilers and heating systems is essential.
What we’re looking for:
* A focus on outstanding customer experience on every visit
* Current ACS qualifications (CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1) or equivalent in plumbing or heating
* At least 3 years’ qualified experience in fault finding and diagnosis
* Electrical knowledge, including wiring and fault finding on S-plan, Y-plan, and combination systems and boilers
