We are currently accepting applications for Social Care Leaders to join the team at the Ballinvalley service in Wicklow, working as part of a committed residential care team supporting vulnerable young people.
The Role As a Social Care Leader, you will play a key leadership role within the residential service, supporting the delivery of safe, consistent, and high-quality care while guiding and mentoring Social Care Workers.
Key Responsibilities Support the day-to-day running of the residential service Provide leadership, supervision, and guidance to staff on shift Promote and deliver trauma-informed, person-centred care Ensure compliance with organisational policies and the Irish National Standards for Children's Residential Centres Support young people to feel safe, supported, and empowered Participate in care planning, reviews, and key-working duties Essential Criteria Level 7 qualification in Social Care or a relevant equivalent Full, clean manual driver's licence valid in Ireland Knowledge of the Irish National Standards in Children's Residential Centres Eligible to work in Ireland Experience working in services where TCI is used Minimum of 2 years' experience working at Social Care grade with young people Why Join Us as a Children's Residential Social Care Worker?
