Compliance and Audit Officer2 – Fixed Term PositionsHorizons is looking to a recruit 2 enthusiastic and motivated Compliance and Audit Officers on a fixed term basis for a period of 2 years.The successful candidates will have responsibility for leading out on Horizons' internal HIQA Regulation 23 audit processes which will assist in ensuring the quality and safety of services for the people we support, and staff, and to continuously improve the quality of care we deliver.Position:Compliance and Audit OfficerGrade:Social Care LeaderLocation: The Atrium, Blackpool Retail Park and various Horizon locationsEmployment typeand Hours: Full Time, 39 hours per weekSalary:Social Care Leader 7-point scale:€56,351, €57,569, €58,786, €62,032, €63,291, €64,540, €65,807ORGrade:Clinical Nurse Manager 2 (CNM2)Location: The Atrium, Blackpool Retail Park and various Horizon locationsEmployment typeand Hours: Full Time, 37.5 hours per weekSalary:Clinical Nurse Manager 2, 11-point scale€61,463, €62,481, €63,342, €64,747, €66,300, €67,826, €69,351 €71,068, €72,662, €75,405€77,666 LSINew appointees to any grade start at the minimum point of the scale. Incremental credit will be applied for recognised relevant service in Ireland (Department of Health Circular 2/2011). Incremental credit is normally granted on appointment, in respect of previous experience in the Civil Service, Local Authorities, Health Service and other Public Service Bodies and Statutory Agencies.Requirements for all applicants:Not less than five years post registration experience to include a minimum of three years' experience in a management or supervisory role in the area of health or social careAn academic award in Quality, Safety, Risk Management or Clinical Governance in Social and Healthcare at level 8 (or higher) on the Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI) framework or equivalent or an academic award at a level 8 or higher and a willingness to undertake further relevant education and trainingHave experience of auditing against regulations and standardsHave an in-depth understanding of HIQA National Standards for Residential Services for Children and Adults with DisabilitiesHave a good understanding of Horizons Policies, Procedures, Protocols and Guidelines (PPPGs)Possess proficient IT Skills including Microsoft OfficeThe ability to analyse and interrogate data to present to Management and other relevant stakeholdersHave an ability to work independently and work effectively as part of a team; contributing and supporting colleagues to achieve team goalsPossess good communication skills with an ability to engage in a supportive and learning manner with Persons in Charge and ManagersHold a clean Full Drivers Licence and use of vehicle for work is essentialApplicants must have the right to work in Ireland and hold up to date, valid employment permissionsPlease see attached Job Specification for further details.Statutory Registration, Professional Qualifications required:Be on the live register of the NMBI (Nursing applicants)ORFor Social Care Applicants:Eligible applicants will be those who on the closing date for the competition:Hold professional registration, or be eligible for registration, on the Social Care Workers Register maintained by the Social Care Workers Registration Board at CORU. See list of recognised Social Care qualifications at:(see note 2 below*)ORHave a schedule 3 qualificationSee list of recognised Schedule 3 qualifications at:(see note 1 & 2 below*)ORHave a comparable qualification recognised by Social Care Workers Registration Board at CORU.ORApplicants who satisfy the conditions set out in Section 91 of the Health and Social Care Professionals Act 2005 (see note 3 below*) must submit proof of application for registration with the Social Care Workers Registration Board at CORU.
