Custodian has a requirement for one of its large financial clients to work on site in the group’s head office in Dublin, as part of the marketing team.
Our client is seeking a passionate, ambitious and energetic Digital Designer to join a dynamic team delivering exciting, disruptive programmes that engage customers in new and innovative ways. This team plays a key role in driving customer‑centric initiatives and delivering meaningful change across the organisation.
Role Summary – Digital Designer
We’re looking for a digitally‑led designer with an agency mindset, someone who thrives on creating high‑quality, impactful work across multiple touchpoints while operating within a fast‑paced, in‑house environment. Just as importantly, you’ll be comfortable working within brand frameworks and collaborating closely with marketing stakeholders and fellow creatives.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Asset Creation
Design and deliver a wide range of digital assets, including:
Social content (banners, carousels, animated posts, short‑form motion)
Video adaptations and light editing
Display banners (static and animated)
Web and mobile advertising assets
Motion graphics and screen animations
Infographics, iconography and illustration
Internal comms (banners, screensavers)
Occasional light print (press, posters, outdoor)
Campaign Delivery
Roll out creative across integrated campaigns and multiple digital channels
Tailor content for platform‑specific formats (Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, web, display)
Balance creativity with performance and channel best practice
Brand & Systems
Act as a brand guardian across all outputs
Apply and evolve visual identity within established guidelines
Build templates and reusable assets to support efficient delivery
Contribute to ongoing development of brand and design systems
Work closely with in‑house marketing teams and cross‑functional stakeholders
Confidently interpret and challenge briefs
Manage multiple projects in a fast‑moving environment
Bring a proactive, solutions‑focused mindset to day‑to‑day work
Embrace and contribute to evolving workflows, including AI‑supported design
Required Skills & Experience (2–3 Years)
Strong portfolio with a clear focus on digital work
Experience creating content for social and digital channels
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, After Effects, InDesign essential)
Working knowledge of video editing (Premiere Pro or similar)
Strong attention to detail with a solid grasp of brand guidelines
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Familiarity with AI tools and image generation workflows
Desirable / Beneficial Skills
Motion design for social and video content
Experience with brand systems or design systems
Experience with Figma or Adobe Animate
Understanding of accessibility standards and platform‑specific requirements
Basic knowledge of image optimisation for web
Agency or consultancy background
