We are hiring an Impact Manager to lead communication, dissemination and exploitation activities for deep-tech research and innovation projects, while supporting proposal development and brokerage/event activities across all business streams.Main responsibilitiesAccountable for impact acceleration activities for assigned projects, from stakeholder mapping and engagement design through to exploitation and commercialisation planning.Lead the development and implementation of Dissemination, Exploitation and Communication (DEC) plans, ensuring clear KPIs and regular updates over the project lifetime. Driving and coordinating inputs from partners where needed.Design and deliver high-quality engagement activities (industry roundtables, cross-sector workshops, showcases, capacity-building workshops).Produce compelling written and visual communication materials (web, social, newsletters, decks, briefs) tailored to technical, industry, policy and public audiences.Shape exploitation and commercialisation strategies, including value propositions, business model options, scaling pathways and investment needs for key exploitable results.Track and report impact, engagement and exploitation KPIs, preparing concise written updates and presentations for internal and external boards, clients and project partners.Manage expectations with Irish national and EU funding bodies, partners, and key clients.Skills & experienceMSc or PhD in a scientific disciplineTypically, 4 - 8 years' relevant experience in research/innovation impact, exploitation, tech transfer, innovation management or consulting, involving publicly funded R&I projects.Experienced and a proven track record in EU proposal developmentDemonstrable experience leading communication, dissemination and stakeholder engagement strategies.Solid exposure to exploitation/commercialisation planning (business models, value propositions, go-to-market thinking) in deep tech or adjacent sectors.Strong written communication skills and ability to translate complex technical content into clear, compelling messages for multiple audiences.Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams, deadlines and stakeholder relationships in parallel.Personal attributesHighly motivated, flexible, and collaborative team player, able to adapt quickly to changing priorities, and build strong, trusting working relationships with colleagues and partners.Job Type: Full-timePay: €50,000.00-€70,000.00 per yearBenefits:Work from homeWork Location: Remote
