Head of IT
to take them into their next phase of growth.
The Opportunity
The business has made huge strides in modernising its technology stack over the past few years — upgrading ERP systems, rolling out new POS technology, modernising its eCommerce platform and more.
Now, the focus shifts to strategy, simplification, and stakeholder engagement.
They're seeking a Head of IT who can combine commercial awareness with technical breadth — someone who can win hearts and minds, shape the IT roadmap, and partner closely with leadership to deliver genuine business impact.
You'll inherit a largely outsourced IT model and be tasked with consolidation of these external partners.
There's also a strong emphasis on data strategy, and driving forward initiatives such as the Single Customer View and enhancement of their Customer Data Platform (CDP).
What You'll Do
* Lead the development and delivery of the IT strategy and roadmap aligned to commercial goals.
* Partner with senior business leaders to drive innovation and deliver value through technology.
* Manage outsourced partners, ensuring performance, cost efficiency, and alignment with business priorities.
* Oversee system architecture (ERP, POS, BI, eCommerce, integrations, and data).
* Support major strategic projects including migration to Power BI and Microsoft Fabric.
* Build internal capability through the recruitment and leadership of key IT roles.
* Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
What You'll Bring
* Proven experience in IT leadership within a retail, FMCG, or consumer-facing environment.
* Broad understanding of infrastructure, enterprise systems, data management, and cybersecurity.
* Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to communicate a strategic vision through a commercial lens.
* A track record of leading transformation and influencing senior leaders and third-party partners.
* A genuine passion for business and technology — someone who thrives on building relationships and delivering outcomes that make a tangible difference.
