NNIT has an immediate requirement for a project with aKilkenny based client that will have a strong focus on the delivery of a numberof new automation lines within a new manufacturing plant.The role will have a number of focus areas and cover bothsystems design and hands on project lifecycle involvement. You will be involvedin systems install and commissioning activities and you may also be involved inFAT and SAT and systems development.
Skills Brief
5+years' experience ina systems engineering role in industrial automation,preferably in a role where you had responsibility for delivery of a rangeof tasks without supervision.
3+years experience in a GMP regulated environment (Pharma, Life Sciences,Biotech or Medical Devices manufacturing) - only candidates with GMPenvironment experience will be considered.
Experiencewith FAT/SAT/IQ/OQ/PQ support
Awarenessof system and equipment validation requirements
Experiencewith Cognex vision systems
Experiencesupporting in-production controls systems
Experiencewith line controllers, MES systems and databases
Experience with new equipment introduction
Person Brief
The ideal individual to undertake this role will have arelevant Bachelors or Masters level qualification (Electrical, Mechatronics,Automation, Systems Engineering or other relevant courses of study) and have aminimum of 5 years post-graduation industry experience in a Controls,Automation or Systems Engineering role. At least 3 years of this experiencemust be gained in a GMP regulated environment including Pharma, Life Sciences,Biotech or Medical Devices. Only individuals with this GMP regulated industryexperience will be considered at this time.You should have strong stakeholder and relationshipmanagement skills, be comfortable with the client facing aspects of this typeof role and be an exceptional communicator at all level. Strong project andorganization skills and a high level of attention to detail are also essentialqualities needed for this role.The role is based in Kilkenny and designated as fullyonsite element so candidates must be able to commit to this. Full remoteworking or significant remote working are not possible and if you require thisaspect this role will not be a suitable fit for you.
