Planning and Environmental Law team
, offering an exciting opportunity for a
Senior Associate Solicitor (6+ years' experience)
to join their growing practice.
This is a standout opportunity for an ambitious lawyer who wants to work on complex, high-value litigation and advisory matters in a supportive, forward-thinking team.
The Role
Advise on planning challenges, including defending judicial reviews for statutory bodies
Manage Superior Court litigation, including Court of Appeal, Supreme Court, and CJEU matters
Provide advice to regulatory/licensing bodies on complex enforcement and licensing queries
Draft charges and advocate in District Court prosecutions, with and without Counsel
Guide clients on statutory interpretation of planning and environmental legislation
Manage a diverse caseload of planning and environmental files efficiently and effectively
Keep clients informed of key legal developments and trends nationally and internationally
Assist with business development, including speaking at seminars and presenting to clients
The Person
6+ years' experience in planning, environmental, or related litigation fields (more experienced or junior candidates will also be considered)
Demonstrated litigation expertise, ideally in judicial review
Strong commercial awareness and client focus
Excellent drafting skills with attention to detail
Proven ability to build trusted relationships with clients
Organised, proactive and ambitious, with a positive, solution-driven attitude
Strong communicator and collaborative team player
