We're looking for a dynamic and experienced Bar & Restaurant Supervisor to support our Food and Beverage Manager in delivering exceptional service and ensuring the smooth, efficient operation of both our bar and restaurant. Bar and Restaurant Operations

* Ensuring that the bar & restaurant department runs smoothly while on duty.
* Acknowledging and welcoming all guests to Lock Four Restaurant and The Lounge.
* Striving for customer satisfaction at all times while on duty.
* Preparing the roster and timesheets in the absence of the Food and Beverage Manager.
* Carrying out monthly beverage stocktakes in the absence of the Food and Beverage Manager.
* Inputting beverage & crockery orders in the absence of the Food and Beverage Manager.
* Communicating effectively with the bar & restaurant team and all other departments regarding operational issues.
* Ensuring bar and restaurant presentation standards are consistently achieved.
* Following all cash handling procedures.
* Using Micros to ensure correct billing and process payments.
* Taking food and beverage orders, serving food and beverages, and clearing and resetting tables.
* Communicating relevant information with colleagues and other departments professionally.


Customer Service

* Providing efficient and friendly service to guests at all times.
* Following the Mespil Hotel key standards consistently.
* Handling guest requests promptly and professionally.
* Maintaining a positive attitude with guests and colleagues.
* Addressing customer complaints in accordance with hotel procedures.


People Management

* Leading and supervising the bar and restaurant team, setting an example.
* Scheduling and conducting ongoing training for team members.
* Managing staff issues and complaints collaboratively with the Food and Beverage Manager and HR.


Health and Safety

* Adhering to health, safety, and environmental policies.
* Reporting hazards, accidents, and incidents.
* Ensuring team compliance with safety procedures.


Presentation and Grooming

* Wearing the correct uniform and name badge at all times.
* Maintaining high standards of personal hygiene and grooming.


Other Duties

* Attending relevant training sessions.
* Participating in hotel committees.
* Performing additional duties as directed by management.
* Assisting in other departments as needed.
* Contributing to the hotel's sustainability efforts by reducing waste, improving energy efficiency, and water conservation.


Qualifications and Skills

* At least 1 year of supervisory experience in hospitality.
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Excellent customer service and communication skills.
* Ability to resolve complaints professionally.
* Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
* Proficiency with point-of-sale systems like Micros.
* High standards of personal presentation and grooming.
