We’re seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Lead to drive cybersecurity oversight within a nationally regulated aviation environment.
This is a senior leadership role responsible for implementing aviation cybersecurity quality and compliance frameworks in line with EU legislation (including NIS2 and CER) and national security requirements. You’ll oversee regulated entities, lead a growing specialist team, and act as a key advisor on regulatory and enforcement matters.
Responsibilities:
Lead aviation cybersecurity oversight and compliance programmes
Lead and support a high-performing cybersecurity team
Oversee audits, inspections, approvals, and regulatory reporting
Engage with domestic and international stakeholders
Provide strategic advice to senior leadership
Requirements:
7–10+ years’ cybersecurity experience (3+ in leadership/oversight)
Strong knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST CSF or similar frameworks
Experience in aviation, critical infrastructure, or other regulated sectors
Relevant degree and certifications (CISSP, CISM, CISA, CCSP, GIAC desirable)
Eligibility for enhanced security clearance
