We are excited to announce this amazing opportunity for an experienced and ambitious individual to join our One Star Michelin Star Restaurant at Ballyfin Demesne.
Ballyfin Demesne proudly holds 3 Michelin Keys for our fabulous property located at the foot of the Slieve Bloom Mountains in Co. Laois. We are also the proud recipient of a Michelin star for our fine dining restaurant headed by our talented chef, Richard Picard Edwards.
Responsibilities
Our Guest Experience is of the utmost importance at Ballyfin and as such exceptional Customer Service is a must. We are looking for a hardworking individual who has previous experience working in a Michelin-star restaurant.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
* Maintaining, storing and up keeping of table and glassware
* Setting up tables for the various service periods
* Welcome guests in the appropriate manner
* Serve food and beverages to guests making recommendations if needed
* Share your menu knowledge to assist guests with questions and special requests
* Clean tables, complete closing duties and re-stock tableware and other supplies
Requirements
The ideal candidates must have great conversational skills and teamwork-oriented, positive outlook and outgoing personality, excellent interpersonal skills and fluent English, immaculate grooming.

* 2 years previous serving experience would be an advantage but not essential
* Their own transport is advantageous and working hours are flexible

This is a full-time, permanent position, 5 days over 7 days, Monday to Sunday, working 5 days over 7 days, from approximately 3/4pm until closing.
