Planet Pharma are currently partnered with a leading consultancy and we are actively seeking a Finance Business Project Manager to join the business on a permanent basis in Athenry, Galway, Ireland.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and deliver key finance-related projects, ensuring alignment with strategic business goals within the medical devices sector.
* Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning efforts.
* Provide actionable insights and analysis to drive business performance.
* Develop, track, and manage project budgets and resource allocation.
* Ensure projects are delivered on time and within financial scope.
* Act as the liaison between finance, operations, R&D, regulatory, and commercial teams to ensure financial implications are integrated into all project phases.
* Prepare and evaluate business cases for new product launches, capital investments, and process improvements.
* Conduct cost-benefit and ROI analysis.
* Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting, controls, and project tracking.
* Ensure financial projects adhere to internal controls, regulatory requirements, and medical device industry standards (e.g., FDA, ISO, SOX).
* Develop and deliver clear project status updates, financial reports, and dashboards to senior leadership.
* Highlight financial risks, opportunities, and recommendations.
* Support organizational change initiatives related to finance systems, M&A integration, or global finance transformation.
* Lead or support the implementation of finance-related tools (e.g., ERP upgrades, financial planning software) in collaboration with IT and external vendors.
Key Requirements:
* 3+ years in Medical Device industry
