Overview We are looking to appoint a Principal Project Manager / Design Manager. The purpose of the design manager is to ensure the design of all projects executed are successfully achieved. This role will sit within our Project Management Department to focus on flawless design delivery, coordination and engineering execution. With deep expertise in data centre delivery, we provide both AE Services (from Site Selection and Due Diligence through Campus Planning, BOD, IFC and CA project stages) and Project Management Consultancy (PMC) services to global hyperscale clients. Our strength lies in combining technical excellence, governance leadership, and world-class project controls to deliver certainty in cost, schedule, quality, and safety on fast-paced, high-value developments. Responsibilities Provide strategic leadership for the full project lifecycle, from design through commissioning and handover. Utilise appropriate systems and provide leadership to the Design and Document Management functions on the project, in accordance with established PM Group procedures and protocols. Act as senior client interface, ensuring alignment on objectives, risk management, and performance Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary PMC teams, contractors, and stakeholders Drive performance across cost, schedule, quality, and safety metrics Qualifications Extensive experience delivering large-scale data centre or mission-critical projects in design and/or project management capacities. Proven track record in senior project leadership roles within AE, PMC, consultancy, or client-side environments Strong commercial acumen and stakeholder management capability.
