We are delighted to partner with an established, mission-led organisation within the housing and not-for-profit sector is seeking a Senior Finance Officer to join their finance team on a maternity cover contract.This is a hands-on role supporting the Financial Controller in a busy, regulated environment. You'll be stepping into a well-structured finance function.The RoleYou'll work closely with the Financial Controller across core financial operations, including:Preparation and posting of accounting journalsMonthly management accounts and board reporting packsCashflow forecasting and reportingSupporting internal and external auditsRegulatory and stakeholder reportingVAT and RCT reconciliations and Revenue returnsFixed asset register management, including additions, disposals and depreciationLiaising with internal departments on new asset onboardingAd hoc finance and compliance tasks as requiredWhat They're Looking ForPart-qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA / CPAMinimum 3 years' experience in a similar finance roleStrong organisational skills with the ability to manage deadlinesConfident Excel user (pivots, lookups, data manipulation)Working knowledge of VAT and RCTStrong communicator and team playerNice to HaveExperience in a not-for-profit or regulated environmentExposure to MS Dynamics Business Central or asset management systemsWhy This Role?Competitive salary DOE up to €56,000Hybrid working (2 days in the office)Proper handover and supportInteresting, meaningful sector with real-world impactBroad role that will strengthen your CV fastThis would suit a strong Senior Finance Officer or experienced Finance Analyst who wants a solid contract role in a stable organisation with good structure and real responsibility.
