What Skills You Need In This Job As A Network Engineer
In-depth experience with Cisco, Nexus, and Brocade networking equipment.
Strong understanding of OSPF, BGP, Layer 2, and Layer 3 protocols.
Proficient with Cisco wireless LAN controller management and troubleshooting.
Solid grasp of network operating systems (JUNOS, Cisco IOS).
Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Capable of working independently with self-sustaining motivation.
Strong organisational and mentoring abilities.
About Your New Job As A Network Engineer
Independently configure, troubleshoot, and maintain LAN, WAN, Wireless networks, and traffic engineering devices.
Manage, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco Nexus (9K, 7K, 5K, 2K), stack switches, and Brocade devices.
Handle EIGRP and BGP routing, as well as OSPF, and maintain network documentation and SOPs.
Standardise access rules across the environment and implement firewall best practices.
Oversee wireless LAN controllers, access points, and facilitate device refresh projects with a focus on security and manageability.
Address shipping, logistics, and provide user communication/support at local sites.
Proactively monitor infrastructure, anticipate potential issues, and recommend improvements for network performance, capacity, and scalability.
