We are hiring our first full-time
Procurement Manager
to join our reorganised Supply Chain function.
This is a strategic role with scope to shape how procurement operates across the business, from supplier selection to cost optimisation and category strategy.
What We're Looking For
We are seeking a commercially astute and proactive procurement professional with 3–5 years' experience in FMCG, food manufacturing, or food retail supply chains.
You should be comfortable managing supplier relationships, negotiating commercial terms, and implementing procurement strategies that balance cost, quality, and service.
The Role
Report into the Supply Chain Director and work closely with the Head of Product Development
Lead procurement within the newly reorganised Supply Chain function (Planning, Logistics, Procurement)
Manage ingredient, packaging, and utility tenders and price negotiations
Source new suppliers in line with production line expansion and NPD/commercial team needs
Implement supplier KPIs, category strategies, and procurement systems
Conduct supplier audits and ensure compliance with food sector standards
Optimise costs without compromising quality or supplier relationships
Analyse spend data and support data-led decision-making
Travel primarily within Ireland and the UK
Requirements
Significant experience in procurement, ideally within FMCG/food manufacturing/food retail supply chain
Proven success managing supplier relationships and negotiating commercial terms
Comfortable negotiating with suppliers across Ireland and the UK
Exposure to category management
Experience in cost optimisation and supplier audits
Experience in commodity purchasing a benefit
Commercially astute with strong analytical skills
Excellent communicator across internal and external stakeholders
Resilient and adaptable in a fast-paced SME environment
Third level qualification in Supply Chain, Procurement, or Business preferred
Other relevant: CIPS, APICS, or equivalent certifications are a bonus
