R&D Engineer Role
Our organization is seeking an R&D engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will provide technical support for product and process development, including clinical programs and complaint investigations.
* Product and process concept generation, presentation, prototyping, and development
* Project management to ensure that all commitments are achieved
* Ensure full compliance with quality, regulatory, health and safety legislation
* Transfer new products to manufacturing areas and train production staff
* Train and develop interns and other technical staff
* Provide assistance and support to other departments as required
Required skills and qualifications include:
* Third-level qualification in engineering or science
* 2-3 years of experience in medical devices
* Analytical approach to problem solving and good attention to detail
* Creative, self-starting, and strong team player
* Strong interpersonal and communications skills
* High level computer skills
This role involves developing products for use in medical procedures and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
