About the Role
We are seeking an experienced
Family Medicine Specialist (GP)
to join our well-established primary care team in Wexford. This role is suited to a compassionate, patient‑centred clinician who provides comprehensive healthcare across all ages and is registered on the
Irish Medical Council Specialist Division
.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality, evidence-based primary care for patients of all ages.
* Diagnose, manage, and treat acute and chronic illnesses.
* Offer preventive care, health promotion, and lifestyle advice.
* Maintain accurate and confidential medical records.
* Conduct consultations, follow-ups, and make appropriate referrals.
* Collaborate with nurses, allied health professionals, and administrative staff.
* Participate in case discussions and multi-disciplinary care planning.
* Contribute to practice development, quality improvement, and CPD activities.
* Support mentoring of junior clinicians when required.
* Engage in community health education and outreach initiative
