We are seeking a Senior-level
Business Project Manager (BPM)
to lead a cross-functional business team in delivering new supply chain and manufacturing IT systems.
The
Business Project Manager
will act as the voice of the business, ensuring seamless collaboration between business stakeholders and IT delivery teams.
This individual will work closely with IT Project Managers, functional leaders, and external partners to plan, execute, test, and implement business-driven IT solutions while managing post-launch activities.
12-month contract, with regular onsite work required.
Competitive hourly/daily rates available.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and coordinate project execution for F4 initiatives, ensuring alignment with global operations objectives.
Manage project timelines, budgets, risks, and resources to deliver successful outcomes that meet quality and regulatory standards.
Drive cross-functional collaboration across departments such as Distribution, Quality Control, Supply Planning, IT, Regulatory, Operations, Finance, and Manufacturing.
Develop and maintain program charters, project roadmaps, execution plans, and communication strategies.
Ensure project deliverables meet expected quality standards with low defect rates and high business impact.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders and executive sponsors to provide visibility on progress and key decisions.
Identify, monitor, and resolve project issues, adapting plans proactively to accommodate changes.
Establish governance frameworks to support decision-making and risk management.
Thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple workstreams and priorities simultaneously.
Required Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in business or IT project management, ideally within supply chain or manufacturing operations.
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
Demonstrated emotional intelligence and ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams.
Competency in project management tools such as Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, Confluence, or Jira.
Ability to work onsite in Galway, Ireland, as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in Project Management, Change Management, or Lean Six Sigma (e.g. PMP, Six Sigma Green/Yellow Belt).
Experience within the medical device or healthcare industry.
Knowledge of systems such as Oracle Materials Management modules, Warehouse Management Systems, Transportation Management Systems, Voice Technology, and SharePoint.
