Key Responsibilities
* Lead and coordinate all finishing trades to deliver works safely, on programme and to the highest quality standards
* Supervise subcontractors and labour, ensuring efficient sequencing and productivity of finishing activities
* Implement and manage daily and weekly programmes in line with the overall project schedule
* Liaise closely with the Site Manager and subcontractors to maintain smooth site operations and coordination
* Inspect finishing works to ensure compliance with project specifications, Building Standards and the DBL Quality Management System
* Identify, manage and close out defects promptly
* Promote and enforce high standards of health and safety, maintaining accurate H&S records
* Order and monitor materials to ensure continuity of works and avoid delays
* Control plant, labour returns and site resources efficiently
* Maintain a daily site diary recording progress, manpower and key site activities
* Attend site briefings and meetings as required, reporting on progress and issues
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Finishing Foreman or in a senior finishing supervisory role within the construction industry
* Strong technical knowledge of finishing trades, materials, and construction standards
* Ability to read, interpret and implement construction drawings and specifications
* Excellent leadership, communication, and coordination skills
* Strong problem-solving ability with a high level of attention to detail
* Capable of working under pressure and managing competing priorities to meet programme deadlines
* Relevant qualifications in construction management, a related field or a trade background are desirable
