The successful candidates will maintain the highest attainable standards of person‑centred care, to promote optimum independence and choice, and to enhance the quality of life of the Service User in all aspects of daily living within a regulated framework. The Team Leader role is a developmental opportunity for staff who are looking to progress into a PIC role. The role will manage and co‑ordinate the safe and effective provision of quality care in Our Residential or Respite Services and mentored by the PIC, with PPIM oversite.QualificationsPossess a BA (Ord) in Social Care Practice (Level 7 on the QQI framework). - With Coru registrationBe registered in the Intellectual Division of the Register of Nurses & Midwives maintained by Bord Altranais agus Cnaimhseachais na hEireann (Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland) or be entitled to be so registeredExperienceRelevant experience working with persons with an Intellectual DisabilityKnowledge and experience of the residential, social and recreational needs of persons with an Intellectual DisabilityKnowledge and experience of advocacy and individual personal plans/person centred planning.Experience of taking the lead in a relevant unit/centreManagement experience desirable but not essential.
