Personal Lines Broker / Insurance Advisor – Arklow, Wicklow

A respected, family-owned insurance brokerage in Arklow, Wicklow is seeking an experienced Personal Lines Broker / Insurance Advisor to join their growing team. Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Advise clients and sell personal lines policies (car, house, van insurance)
Handle new business enquiries, renewals, and mid-term adjustments (MTAs)
Provide expert customer service and manage renewals to ensure client retention
Research the market and negotiate with underwriters for the best premiums
Maintain accurate client records and ensure compliance with Central Bank regulations
Identify cross-selling opportunities (Commercial, Life, Health insurance)
Requirements:
Minimum APA qualification in Personal General Insurance (or Grandfathered/CIP), CPD compliant
1–2+ years’ experience in a similar personal lines broker or insurer role
Proficient IT skills; experience with Broker Management Systems (Relay/Applied Systems) preferred
Strong communication, telephone manner, and negotiation skills
