Job Description

Ryanair, Europe's largest airline group, is seeking a highly skilled HR Officer to join our team.

This exciting opportunity offers the chance to grow with us as we expand to over 800 aircraft and serve 300 million guests within the next decade.

The role of an HR Officer at Ryanair can be varied, but one thing remains constant - you will be the face of our HR Team, supporting over 27,000 aviation professionals across our extensive European network.

As an HR Officer, you will handle a wide range of HR matters, from legal cases to drafting contracts, while frequently traveling to assigned bases to meet with employees and address their queries.

At Ryanair, you will gain valuable experience early in your career as you take on responsibilities similar to those of a HR Manager for up to 1,000 employees under your remit, making daily decisions, offering advice, and resolving employee relations matters.

This is an ideal opportunity for recent graduates seeking a challenge and wanting to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Duties Include:

* Manage the entire HR function for up to 1,000 employees in assigned bases/areas.
* Monitor employee absence and turnover trends, identifying areas for improvement.
* Liaise with management at all levels, providing support and guidance on HR-related matters, including grievances, disciplinary investigations, and legal case preparation.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in our HR databases.
* Submit weekly reports to the HR Manager on HR issues in your area.
* Demonstrate a solid understanding of business and HR principles to address employee queries and make informed decisions.
* Develop strong writing skills to compose important disciplinary letters.
* Contribute to ad-hoc projects as needed.
* Prepare for local litigation across Europe and for WRC & LC.
* Travel across Europe to meet with employees, attend interviews, and negotiate employment agreements.

Requirements

* A relevant HR or business degree is essential.
* Ability to thrive in a pressurized and fast-paced environment.
* Strong organizational skills.
* Excellent interpersonal skills.
* The ability to work independently.
* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
* Effective time management and ability to work under tight deadlines.

Benefits:

* Unlimited travel to over 250 destinations at a discounted rate.
* A defined contribution pension scheme.
* Death in Service Benefit – Up to 2 times of annual basic salary.
* 20 Days Annual Leave – Increasing to 22 days after 12 months and 25 days after 3 years of continuous service.
* Option for up to 5 additional unpaid leave days per year.
