Your new role
1. Inspecting, adjusting, rebuilding, laser aligning, balancing, and levelling pumps, fans, and other rotating machinery.
2. Performing welding repairs and installations.
3. Conducting preventive maintenance on all plant mechanical and electrical equipment.
4. Troubleshooting and correcting mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues.
5. Participating in plant shutdown work and assisting with warehouse and operations tasks.
6. Maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly work area and supporting on-site safety and quality initiatives.
What you'll need to succeed
7. Time-served Mechanical Fitter with qualifications in Mechanical Automation, Maintenance, Manufacturing, or related fields.
8. Experience in a waste industry is desirable but not essential.
9. At least 3 years of post-qualification experience.
10. Additional safety training (e.g., Safe Pass, MEWP) is a plus.
11. Comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor conditions.
