Talbot Hotel Cork are seeking an experience Carvery Chef. Morning/Day Time hours, with flexibility. Full Time hours are available.

Reporting to the Head Chef/Sous Chef, you will be responsible for preparing, producing and serving food for carvery service in agreement to 4 star standards.
Main Duties to include :
* To prepare and produce food for the section to which you are assigned and to the standards agreed, working in conjunction with other chefs.
* Be able to cook, control and present a variety of large amount of items including joints of meat
* Be able to adapt to customer needs and requests
* To adhere to hygiene regulations regarding uniform, personal hygiene and operational hygiene.
* To ensure all necessary mis-en-place are ready prior to service
* Ensure the carvery section is prepared in advance of each shift in according with relevant SOP's.
* Stay current with relevant legislation regarding service of food
Relevant Skills candidate will:
* Up to 2 years' experience in a similar position.
* Have the ability to work well in a busy environment and under pressure.
* Have a passion for quality and presentation;
* Be HACCP trained and demonstrate excellent hygiene practice;
* Have a professional appearance & work attitude
* Ability to work alone and as part of a team
* Good command of the English Language
The successful Chef must be legally entitled to work in Ireland.
