Celtic Careers has partnered with one of the country's leading food suppliers,who are looking for a Foodservice Sales Representative to join their team in the Leinster Region - North Dublin
Our client is seeking an enthusiastic person to join their friendly team. As part of that team, you will play a vital role in maximising sales opportunities and nurturing strong customer relationships, all while enjoying the great benefits and opportunities for progression that are offered. This role is perfect for someone with a background as a chef or experience in hospitality, food and beverage, or in a delicatessen who's genuinely passionate about quality food and knows how to connect with customers to bring great products to market.
About the role:
Your main responsibility will be to visit and engage with customers - school canteens and hospitals handling their inquiries and orders, and contribute to the expansion of the customer base. You'll have the chance to build strong, long-lasting relationships with regular customers, ensuring that the high level of service keeps them coming back time and time again. Achieve daily and weekly sales targets and report to the Business Development Manager while working closely with the wider team, you'll ensure a seamless transaction process from order placement to timely delivery.
Requirements:
8. Full, valid driving Licence
9. Solid understanding of sales and margin management processes
10. Proven experience in the food service industry
11. Result-oriented with a drive to achieve targets
12. Exceptional communication and customer service skills
13. Ability to develop and maintain relationships
14. Strong numerical and analytical skills
15. Self-motivated, enthusiastic and well organised
