The role will be based in Dublin.

Responsibilities: Liaise with clients, architects and stakeholders to define project goals and requirements.
Develop and manage project plans, timelines and budgets to meet client and company standards.
The Mechanical Engineer will coordinate with electrical, sprinkler and fire protection teams for smooth project delivery.
Create and update technical drawings and specs using BIM and design software.
Ensure designs comply with all relevant codes, regulations and safety standards.
Source and specify materials, equipment and components for mechanical systems.
Review vendor proposals and manage procurement to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery.
Oversee installation and commissioning, providing on-site technical support.
Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with design, safety, and quality standards.
Resolve technical issues during construction with practical, timely solutions.
Maintain project documentation, including reports, drawings, and close-out records.
Prepare concise technical reports for clients and internal teams on progress and outcomes.
Requirements: Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
3+ years experience in a similar role.
Proven experience in mechanical engineering within the engineering services sector, with successful project delivery.
Strong technical skills in mechanical engineering principles, design tools, and software.
This Mechanical Engineer will need to be familiar with Building Information Modelling (BIM) and other engineering technologies.
Excellent project management skills, capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Good knowledge of relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards in mechanical engineering.
Benefits: Salary €55,000 to €75,000 DOE Vehicle allowance.
