Front Office Manager – 4-Star Hotel | Dublin West

Are you a dynamic hospitality leader with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences? Our client, a prestigious 4-star corporate hotel in Dublin West, is seeking an experienced Front Office Manager to join their senior leadership team. This is an exciting opportunity to lead operations in a high-volume, fast-paced environment, catering primarily to business and corporate guests with a strong meetings and events offering.

As Front Office Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving service excellence, team development, and revenue growth. If you thrive in a leadership position and have a proven track record in front office management, this role is for you

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead and inspire the Front Office team including reception, concierge, and night audit.
2. Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and teamwork across all front office functions.
3. Coach and mentor team members through structured training and performance reviews.
4. Implement and maintain SOPs to ensure consistent service delivery and operational efficiency.
5. Collaborate with Revenue and Sales teams to support upselling initiatives and maximize guest spend.
6. Oversee smooth and professional check-in/check-out processes, resolving guest queries and complaints effectively.
7. Work closely with other departments to deliver seamless guest experiences, especially for meetings and events.
8. Monitor and report on KPIs including guest satisfaction, team productivity, and upselling performance.
9. Manage recruitment, onboarding, rostering, and scheduling to ensure optimal staffing levels.

Ideal Candidate

10. Minimum 2 years' experience as a Front Office Manager in a busy 4-star or higher hotel.
11. Strong leadership skills with a hands-on, people-first approach.
12. Proven experience in team development, SOP implementation, and operational improvement.
13. Commercially aware with a solid understanding of revenue generation through guest service.
14. Proficient in hotel PMS systems (Opera, Protel, or similar).
15. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
16. Flexible and resilient, thriving in a fast-paced environment.
