Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Duties
This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.
The role will involve carrying out cleaning, laundry and other housekeeping duties in the Homeless Emergency Support Service. Duties include: cleaning bathrooms, bedrooms, buffing floors, hallways and communal rooms; general cleaning, carrying out laundry duties when necessary. The person will be based in the Homeless Emergency Support Service, Anderson’s Quay, Cork. Community Employment is designed to provide training and work experience to people who are unemployed with the aim of enabling progression into more regular employment. We can provide you with accredited training and development opportunities to help you achieve this aim.
