Job Title – Junior Site Engineer
Project – Commercial
Job Location – Limerick
Salary – €30K - €40K BOE
About the Company
Working with a busy Main Contractor on a mix of residential and commercial projects in Cork City. Projects range in value form €1M to €10M.
This would be a great place for a Junior Engineer to gain experience on a range of different projects which will help them later in their engineering career.
The Role
- Setting out and checking works as required for the project and ensuring all works are completed in line with project drawings specifications and building regulations.
- Liaise and manage sub-contractors and personnel on site in in the planning and construction of the project.
- Support the Project Manager, Senior Engineer and Contracts Manager to ensure works are completed as per programme and to a high standard.
- Maintain excellent relationships with the construction management team, subcontractors and site personnel.
- Supervise works and check the quality of works to ensure they are of a high standard.
- Assist with the flow of information between Senior Management, Design Team and Subcontractors.
Requirements
- A Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum of 1 years' experience in an engineering role with a Main Contractor in ROI
- Ability to use setting out instruments is essential and being competent in all aspects of set out, survey & level, temporary works co-ordination.
- Thorough knowledge of computer and database applications such as Microsoft Office and Project/PowerPoint.
