About the Role
Hiring on behalf of a technology consultancy expanding its Data and AI practice in Ireland. This Senior Data Consultant role sits at the intersection of analytics, architecture, and client advisory, focused on helping organisations turn complex data into actionable insight. You will work directly with customers to shape data strategy, design modern analytics platforms, and deliver solutions that drive measurable business outcomes.
This is a senior, client facing role with scope to influence technical direction, mentor consultants, and support pre sales activity across data and AI engagements.
Key Responsibilities
1. Advise clients on data strategy, architecture, governance, and analytics roadmaps.
2. Lead stakeholder workshops to align business objectives with technical solutions.
3. Design and deliver end to end data solutions using Microsoft Fabric, including OneLake, Dataflows, Notebooks, and Power BI.
4. Provide technical leadership across analytics projects from discovery through delivery.
5. Support pre sales activity including solution design, demos, and proposals.
6. Mentor junior consultants and contribute to best practice across the data function.
Requirements
7. Strong experience delivering analytics and data platforms using Microsoft Fabric.
8. Solid understanding of data architecture, modelling, and ETL or ELT processes.
9. Hands on experience with Azure data services such as Synapse, Data Factory, or Databricks.
10. Proven client facing consulting skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
11. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
12. Microsoft Data certifications are beneficial but not essential.
