**Job Overview:**
We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a trainee management role. This is an ideal opportunity for those who aspire to progress in a retail environment and have long-term career aspirations.
Key Responsibilities:
* To successfully partake in all areas of the training program, both task-based and classroom-based training, to ensure that all aspects of the operation are understood and can be utilized to build a profitable off-license business.
* To shadow the manager and work towards managing shifts independently, with a focus on customer relations, selling skills, commercial and business acumen, leadership, taking responsibility, legislation, organization and planning, maximizing resources, quality emphasis, motivating others, staff training and development, effective administration, problem-solving, and working hours.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* A minimum 1 year's experience within a similar retail or customer service environment.
* A valid driving license plus access to a vehicle.
* An excellent standard of education, including 5 GCSEs with English Language and Maths or equivalent (Grade C or above).
Benefits:
* The successful applicant will commence a comprehensive training program enabling them to successfully transfer into the role of Manager at the end of the training period.
* The training period is anticipated to last approximately 12 months and will depend on the candidate's individual progression.
* The individual will have the opportunity to work across various stores and gain valuable experience in different environments.
Other Information:
* The successful applicant must be age 18 or over and flexible in relation to movement to other stores, as per business needs.
* The individual must be committed to successfully completing WSET Level 3 Award in Wines and Spirits.
* The appointment to the post of Manager will be subject to the individual attaining WSET Level 3 within a specified time period.
