Job Title: Financial Operations Specialist
About the Role: We are seeking a skilled Financial Operations Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background in finance and accounting to take on a key role in our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
* Accounts Payable Management: The successful candidate will be responsible for processing and managing accounts payable, ensuring timely payment to suppliers and vendors.
* Bookkeeping Duties: They will perform bookkeeping duties, maintaining accurate information in our ERP system, including data entry, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
* Financial Analysis: Our ideal candidate will provide support to the finance team by analyzing financial data, identifying trends, and making recommendations for process improvements.
* Data Entry: They will maintain digital folders and files, ensuring accurate and timely data entry, and assist with month-end close processes.
* Reporting: Our Financial Operations Specialist will report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and key deliverables weekly to the Head of Finance.
* Team Support: They will provide support to other roles within the finance and administration team as required, undertaking various administrative and data entry tasks related to financial operations.
Requirements and Qualifications:
* Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar financial role, preferably in accounts payable or receivable.
* Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, G Suite, and PowerPoint, experience with ERP systems and accounting software, high level of accuracy and attention to detail, strong organizational skills, proven ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team.
