A highly regarded main contractor is seeking an experienced Finishing Managerto oversee the day-to-day finishing works on a high-profile Dublin-based hotel project.
This role requires a professional with a strong eye for detail, excellent subcontractor coordination skills, and the ability to deliver quality finishes to programme and safety standards.
Responsibilities: Supervise finishing foreman on site.
Oversee and manage subcontractors to ensure efficient site operations.
Ensure that all works are delivered in line with health & safety regulations and company policies.
Attend weekly management meetings and provide updates on site progress.
Maintain a detailed site diary, recording labour levels and site activities.
Compile labour allocation sheets for both direct and agency staff.
Assist with the control and allocation of plant and equipment.
Provide clear leadership and maintain a professional working environment on site.
Monitor and uphold high standards of workmanship throughout the project lifecycle.
Resolve any on-site issues promptly to avoid delays or rework.
Requirements: Minimum of 5 years' experience as a General or Finishing Foreman on large-scale projects.
Proven background in delivering quality finishes in hotels, or other sectors such as residential, or commercial.
Trade qualification or relevant construction-related qualification required.
Strong track record of subcontractor supervision and coordination.
Ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
Basic IT skills to manage timesheets, requisitions, and documentation.
