Job Description:We are a progressive Life Safety & Security Company with over 20 years of experience in the Life Safety and Security industry and we cater to a range of clients from small, single site businesses up to complex, high-risk, multiple site blue chip organisations. See for more information on our Company.We require a Project Manager who will be responsible for the day to day management of Life Safety & Fire Suppression Projects in Ireland and Europe.Main tasks:Lead and manage multiple Life Safety & Fire Suppression projects simultaneouslyManage all technical, engineering and operational staff on site including Company sub-contractors;Coordinate with design teams, subcontractors, inspectors, and clientsAttend project progress meetings, commercial meetings, commissioning meetings, etc.Ensure projects comply with regulatory technical standards, project specifications and safety regulations.Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource plansTrack project performance, cost control, and risk management to ensure that projects achieve agreed milestones and are on budgetReview submittals, drawings, and specificationsManage procurement and delivery of materialsConduct regular site visits and quality assurance checksPrepare and present project updates to stakeholdersProduce weekly reports for senior managementPlan and co-ordinate deliveries of materials;Constantly reinforce the health & safety culture, striving for an accident free projectNecessary Skills & Experience:3rd Level qualification in Construction Management / Project Management / Engineering or equivalent3+ years High Level Project Management or Contract Management experienceExcellent knowledge of Life Safety Systems.Fire Alarm SystemsPA/VA SystemsGas Detection SystemsDisabled Refuge SystemsExcellent knowledge of Fire Suppression Systems (Gas and Water Mist).Excellent knowledge of appropriate StandardsExperience in mechanical systems is desirable.Be able to demonstrate a proven track record of successfully seeing projects through to completion.Proficient in the use of Project Management software.Excellent computer skillsExcellent communication skills at all levels.Salary:Excellent salary & benefits to the successful applicant.Benefits:Company PensionHealth InsuranceCompany vehicleLaptopMobileLocation:The Wilec office is in Rathnew, Co.
