Incremental credit is normally granted on appointment, in respect of previous experience in the Civil Service, Local Authorities, Health Service and other Public Service Bodies and Statutory Agencies.

Duration of Post The cANP is required to have progressed to being eligible to be Registered by An Bord Altranais agus Cnáimhseachais na hÉireann (Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland) (NMBI) as a Registered Advanced Nurse Practitioner (RANP) within 3 years of commencement of this post.
