The role
As a
Software Engineer (API, Ruby on Rails)
, you'll work on client-facing applications, building robust APIs and contributing to well-architected systems in an Agile, consultancy-style environment. This role offers the opportunity to work fully remotely while collaborating closely with both internal teams and external clients.
Your Responsibilities:
* Design, build, and maintain APIs and applications using
Ruby on Rails

* Collaborate with clients, designers, QA engineers, and business analysts to deliver high-quality solutions.
* Contribute to system and application design, promoting best practices and clean architecture.
* Support continuous improvement through
TDD, CI/CD pipelines
, and effective release management.
* Provide technical input, knowledge sharing, and support across project teams.
About You:
* Strong experience as a
Software Engineer (API, Ruby on Rails)
building scalable, production-grade APIs.
* Comfortable working in Agile environments using tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
* Experience with cloud platforms such as
Heroku, AWS

* Background working in a
software consultancy
or client-delivery-focused environment.
