The Opportunity
As a Customer Sales and Service Representative at Allianz Direct, you will support our personal lines customers with great care and diligence. You will provide fantastic customer experience, offer market‑leading products and achieve key sales, retention and quality targets by providing the trusted service on which Allianz has built its reputation. You’ll join a fun and fast‑paced dynamic team with extensive insurance training, continuous development and regular coaching to build your skills and support your success.
Following completion of training, you’ll work in a hybrid working model.
Key Responsibilities
Provide customers with quotes and convert new business opportunities
Proactively identify and convert cross‑sell and multi‑cover opportunities
Achieve sales, service and customer satisfaction targets, as agreed with your manager
Process policy adjustments as requested by our customers, and ensure records are kept accurate and up to date
Consistently demonstrate our People Attributes: Customer and Market Excellence, Collaborative Leadership, Trust and Entrepreneurship
Look for ways to improve quality and efficiency within the team, sharing ideas and supporting continuous improvement
Adhere to company quality guidelines and underwriting standards
Comply with the Financial Regulator’s Minimum Competency Code, Consumer Protection Code and any other relevant regulations
Key Requirements / Skills & Experience
Essential
A third level degree or leaving certificate OR a minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a sales or customer service environment
Desirable
6 – 12 months experience in an insurance/financial services environment
Knowledge and understanding of general insurance
Completed an APA, CIP or a relevant insurance qualification to meet minimum competency requirements
Understanding of Data Analytics or Artificial Intelligence principles is advantageous
