Job Title: Lead Estimator

A lead estimator is a crucial member of any construction project team. They are responsible for accurately assessing the cost and feasibility of various projects, ensuring that they are completed within budget and on time.

In this role, you will work closely with other stakeholders to identify potential risks and opportunities for value engineering. You will also be responsible for analyzing returned prices and tenders to assess their competitiveness and completeness.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related discipline. They must have at least 6 years' experience working in estimating or quantity surveying roles within the construction industry. Strong attention to detail, excellent numerical and analytical abilities are essential skills for this position.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools is required, along with experience using estimating software such as CostX or Conquest. Up-to-date knowledge of construction methods, materials and market rates is also necessary. Proven ability to take responsibility for cost assessments and financial accuracy is crucial.
