Reporting into our EHS manager you will work with our Production teams on a daily basis promoting a positive EHS culture.Key Responsibilities and DutiesLead and promote a positive EHS Culture across the site, with all site personnel to drive a safe working environment whilst assisting Managers to ensure safe completion of tasks and activitiesDevise and implement safety plans in line with client requirements to provide safe place of operationLiaise with contractors to ensure Safe System of Works are implementedAttend site project meetings to discuss EHS issues and plansEnsure all EHS documentation is in place and validIssue safety reports to detail accident, incidents, and safety issuesReview, update, and publish HSA Controlled DocumentationConduct and participate in the auditing process to assure compliance to requirements and report on findingsProactively work with operational teams to ensure that EHS is considered at all stages and that relevant control measures are identifiedMonitoring and Measuring EHS objectives and targets in-line with defined metricsCompliance Assurance in line with client, legislation, and best practicesMaintain a professional image for the company in all dealings with public and stakeholdersOther ad hoc duties that the Company may require from time to time.QualificationsLevel 7 or higher qualification in Health and SafetyExperience in a similar role previouslyExperience working in the manufacturing industry previously is desirableKnowledge of the manufacturing/ construction sector in IrelandStrong and proven ability to influence change and be a champion of best practiceExcellent communication skills and attention to detailGood working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, PowerPoint), and a general competence in using new technologies (Mobile Apps etc)BenefitsCompetitive salaryExcellent onsite facilitiesFree parking onsiteL&D programmes for career developmentNUA Manufacturing is an equal opportunities employer and welcomes applications from suitably qualified candidates from all sections of the community.
