We are seeking a highly skilled and reliable Gas Boiler Service Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a range of domestic and commercial gas boilers and heating systems. You will work with customers to ensure their systems are operating efficiently and safely, providing top-notch service and technical expertise. Good knowledge of general plumbing would be advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct regular servicing, maintenance, and inspections of gas boilers and heating systems.
* Diagnose and repair faults in gas boilers and related components.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant gas safety regulations and industry standards.
* Provide excellent customer service, explaining issues and solutions in a clear and professional manner.
* Maintain accurate records of work completed, including service reports and compliance documentation.
* Advise customers on the safe and efficient operation of their heating systems.
* Participate in emergency call-outs when required.
Requirements:
* Valid RGI registration. Or at a minimum the applicant should possess the relevant qualifications to enable being registered by the company.
* Proven experience in servicing, maintaining, and repairing gas boilers.
* Strong knowledge of gas safety regulations and industry standards.
* Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
* Good communication and customer service skills.
* Full Irish driving license (company vehicle provided).
* A proactive and professional attitude.
Desirable Skills:
* Experience with a variety of boiler brands and models.
* LPG qualifications (optional but beneficial).
